Tim's expertise in 3D CAD modelling and keen sense of mechanical design have resulted in advanced test devices for understanding behind armour blunt trauma including the Ballistic Load Sensing Headform (BLSH) for helmets, the Blunt Torso Test Rig (BTTR) for ballistic torso protectors and the Linear Impactor used to replicate real world football helmet impact for mTBI research.
