Head trauma research under impact conditions may entail the use of NOCSAE headforms which are stipulated for use in sports standards for evaluating helmets. The headforms, however, require calibration and have historically involved several iterative steps with associated effort to determine the calibration factors. The HEADform Response OPtimiser (HEADROP™) testing software facilitates the ‘calibration’ routine with single drop testing functionality. Data can be exported to text files, Excel® or exported to the Clipboard.
