Yaw measurement of bullets and fragments captured on high-speed video or still images can be easily determined with the Yaw-HSV™ Pro software. Features include calibration of the field of view, removal of background images, dust and speckle handling and filtering for optimization of the projectile image. Two orthogonal views are required along with optional calibration grids. Yaw is measured relative to the true bullet trajectory or camera reference frame. Velocity is also calculated when using video images.
